Playing with Light!
For every Photographer, Light is an essential source, but you should always try to use it creatively and uniquely to maximize your creativity and make it a subject! You gotta play with the Lights!
Here are some of the ways you can do so:
1. Reflection Photography - Instead of just using light to illuminate an object, use it to create reflections. Now, I’m not saying just throw water and capture what’s reflected- NO! Spread the light at various angles and try to create an illusion! Remember White light is made up of 7 colors, try to extract them in your own creative way!
2. Going Macro – The source of Light is often amazing to look at, especially if shot as a Macro Shot. Get close to a candle or a Filament Bulb and try to get some macro shots. Also, take care not to get too close else you’ll damage both yourself and your camera!
- Keep ISO as low as possible as you don’t wanna overexpose your picture.
- Keep extremely Slow Shutter Speed (4s/8s/10s) coz you want to get all the action.
- Mount your device as even the slightest handshake might ruin the picture!
